Sean Reis

founder, managing attorney

Sean Reis is the founder and managing attorney of The Reis Law Firm, A.P.C. He is an experienced trial attorney and appellate litigator with countless jury verdicts, bench trial awards and published appellate decisions in his clients’ favor. Throughout his 20-year legal career, Mr. Reis has represented a wide range of clients in virtually all areas of civil and business litigation.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Reis brings substantial business and life experience to his representation. He has owned several small businesses, managed numerous real estate investments, and been a licensed California real estate broker for over a decade.

Mr. Reis is a former “big firm” lawyer. Prior to founding The Reis Law Firm, A.P.C., Mr. Reis practiced at several well-known firms including a prominent international law firm in its Los Angeles office and a premier California firm in its Orange County office.

Mr. Reis graduated from the Rutgers University School of Law, where he served as Business Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. He was awarded the Nathan D. Schildkraut Graduation Award for Appellate Advocacy and was part of a select group chosen to teach Legal Research and Writing to incoming first-year law students. Prior to law school, Mr. Reis attended the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), where he earned a degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences.

Despite his courthouse reputation as an aggressive litigator, Mr. Reis is a fun-loving husband and father who enjoys coaching soccer, playing card games and traveling. His down-to-earth personality and youthful appearance leads people to often describe him as being “not like other lawyers.”
